Tottenham should make a move for Morgan Gibbs-White if he were to leave Nottingham Forest, talkSPORT's Gabby Agbonlahor believes.
The 24-year-old He stood out in Forest's 3-1 win over Fulham on Tuesday night, scoring and assisting in a crucial win as they bid to avoid relegation.
Nuno Espirito Santo's team was four points were deducted by the Premier League for breaching the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) rules.
As a result, Forest They may need to sell key players this summer to help ease their financial concerns, with Gibbs-White a possible way out.
And if I had to leave the City Ground, Agbonlahor thinks it would be good for him to move to north London with Spurs.
When asked by Darren Bent on talkSPORT Drive if the midfielder could play for a top four, he said: “100 per cent. I see a team that suits him, Spurs.
“If you see (James) Maddison getting knocked out in some games recently and they're bringing in (Giovani) Lo Celso, who's decent, imagine having that power next season.
“Champions League football, and you bring Gibbs-White in and rotate him in that position. I think he offers everything, the first touch, he can score a goal, he can collect a pass, he has that talent.
“As we said before, that assist in the previous game against (Crystal) Palace to Chris Wood, the defenders didn't even see that pass. Just a little hit on the head from Chris Wood, a direct pass too.
“I think he has it all and Nottingham Forest could be in a position at the end of the season where they have to sell someone like Gibbs-White.”
Asked how much he thinks Gibbs-White would pay, Agbonlahor replied: “I think a minimum of £50m, I think maybe a bit more. Brennan Johnson was what, was it £50m? It's better than him, so who probably talking more.
“Forest will want a lot of money for him, but if they are under pressure to sell, clubs will know and maybe offer less than £40m because Forest have to sell someone for financial fair play.
“But I don't think he goes to one of the top four clubs and then looks out of place, I think he fits into that, he's the best player.”
Gibbs-White is in his second season at Forest since signing from Wolves in 2022 in a deal worth around £42.5m.
He has five goals and seven assists in all competitions in the current campaign and continued form like this could give him a breakthrough elsewhere.
