Adriana Leon’s fine form in March has earned her a nomination for the Barclays WSL’s Player of the Month award.
The forward scored a goal and supplied a further two assists as Villa picked up four points.
After returning from the Gold Cup as the Golden Boot winner, the Canadian provided the assist for Kenza Dali’s opener in our 2-1 win over Everton.
Adriana produced an impressive ball to set up Ebony Salmon during our 3-1 defeat to Arsenal a week later before Salmon returned the favour against Leicester, finding Leon at the far post to tap home her fifth goal of the season.
