Gary Lineker Reveals Martin Keown's MOTD Moment He and Micah Richards Died of Laughing That Viewers Will Have Missed

Tasked with analyzing Nottingham Forest's match against Wolves on Saturday night, Keown was keen to ensure he was talking about Nuno Espirito Santo accurately, leading to a hilarious off-camera moment.

Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Lineker said: “We had a giggle last night.

“Martin is wonderful, I love him very much and he is brilliant to work with, but he gets a little nervous about the pronunciation of various names.

“He tends to ask you many times how to say everyone's name, including Nuno (Espirito Santo).

“So Micah and I were together. Martin was doing his analysis on the images and Micah and I couldn't look at each other because we were both gone.

Laughing, Shearer replied: “What else could it be other than Nuno?” to which Lineker responded: “That's exactly the point.

Richards then said: “Honestly, I was gone.

“You are absolutely right, fortunately the analysis was long and for those who don't know, there are several cameras in the studio and you may have one camera that shows the three of us, one that shows Gary when he is reading a link or doing a question but fortunately it came as a shot from behind and then a single from Martin.
