Noel Gallagher joins outraged fans in criticizing 'outrageous' move by Arsenal fans against Aston Villa
The “exodus” of Arsenal fans near the end of their defeat to Aston Villa has been branded a “disgrace” by Noel Gallagher.
But the former Gunners star Perry Groves has defended his former club's supporters and explains why it is not surprising that most of them have since left Leon Bailey and Olivia Watkins' strikes.

But despite the obvious disappointment of the Gunners fans, Gallagher was left baffled that they turned their backs on them when there was still time in the game to salvage a result.
Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, he said: “The thing about those lots is… Arsenal fans -, when that stadium was left empty yesterday, it is a shame. That's a shame.
“They were 1-0 down with ten minutes left, you're going for the title and the exodus began.
“I was watching it and thinking, ‘Oh my God, that’s outrageous.’ It’s outrageous!
“I really enjoyed watching (Arsenal fans') YouTube videos last night and the word 'disgusting' is used a lot with these Arsenal fans (saying) 'that's a disgusting performance.'
“You know, they weren't that bad.”

But while Gallagher can't understand Gunners fans leaving the stadium in their team's time of need, one former Arsenal star hasn't seen it that way.
Speaking about fans leaving after Sunday's defeat, Perry Groves told talkSPORT: “I get it. Look, it's Sunday, you've just seen your team…”
Sam Matterface intervened and questioned whether being Sunday was really an excuse, to which Groves responded: “They want to take the train home, I understand that.
“The way the fans see it, Arsenal fans will accept other fans, but that's what happens.
“If it's 1-0 then I say: 'Okay, you should stay where you are.' But I'm not going to attack Arsenal fans for leaving the Emirates.”
The Gunners were not the only ones who gave City the advantage in the three horse title race.
Liverpool also suffered a surprising defeat against crystal PalaceThe Reds could not cancel out Eberechi Eze's early goal and losing 1-0.
Meanwhile, Manchester City beat Luton 5-1 and are now two points clear with six games remaining.
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back and win when they take on Wolves at Molineux this Saturday.
