Sport Bild reports that if Julian Nagelsmann is to return to Bayern Munich as their new manager, then some players may be forced to leave the club.
Two of those players are Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry. The pair have fallen out of favour in the national team under Nagelsmann and this will likely not change if he is to return to Munich.
Cracks were beginning to show in relation to the Joshua Kimmich-Goretzka midfield partnership under Nagelsmann during his last spell in charge, which also saw the arrival of Konrad Laimer in the summer, so it would make sense for Goretzka to possibly leave especially now due to the promotion and performances of Aleksander Pavlovic.
While Gnabry, has struggled for form this season, mainly due to injuries and with a host of other options in the wing positions at Bayern, he may no longer be required. However, Sky Germany reports that if Gnabry is to leave in the summer, he will only want to move to ‘something big’ meaning he is likely to stay at Bayern beyond the summer.
