Newcastle United are considering a summer move for the Valencia star, with Atletico Madrid also interested

It looks set to be another summer of concern for Valencia as they could part ways with another of their key players. Giorgi Mamardashvili looks to be a strong candidate to go, with growing interest in his services.

After the news that Atletico Madrid are thinking about Mamardashvili as a possible replacement for Jan Oblak, is now reported by inews that Newcastle United have an interest in the Georgian international, having scouted him on several occasions.

The Premier League side are one of the richest clubs in the world, and there is little doubt that they will be able to match Valencia's price for Mamardashvili, despite their well-documented struggle with Financial Fair Play.

It remains to be seen if Mamardashvili will end up coming out Valencia in the summer Club officials are preparing for this, as it was reported recently possible replacements are already beginning to be identified.
