'He's not happy now': Gary Neville hilariously pushes Jamie Carragher to point out Everton penalty at Luton

Gary Neville offered a hilarious analysis of Everton's penalty at Luton Town by playfully shoving his co-author Jamie Carragher.

“You can probably get away with it for a second, but you have to let it go, and he just won't let you go and nowadays, you're not going to get your way.”

Neville He then added: “The element of surprise as a defender is that it looks like you're not marking it. Just when the ball is about to be kicked, if I'm marking it, you do it…”

Neville then puts his arm on Carragher as if he were trying to stop him on the pitch and pushes him lightly, before seeing his reaction and jokingly saying: “He's not happy now.”

“Make sure you do it just before the ball goes in,” he said before repeating what he did to knock the Liverpool legend off the screen.

Presenter Kelly Cates laughed, but when Carragher returned the same to Neville, she warned him: “Hey, watch out, don't bring me into this!”

The Manchester United icon continued to demonstrate what the defender should do before imitating Mengi hugging Branthwaite.

Neville further said: “You can't do that, it's just not a move any defender makes, so it's a bit naive, very naive.”

“Look, it happens, but that's not a move a defender should make.”

Cates then joked about hugging Carragher again or he'll have to 'buy him dinner' after being the victim of some playful roughness.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the resulting penalty at Kenilworth Road before Elijah Adebayo equalized for Luton just minutes later.

Everton are now safe from relegation, but the point still keeps the Hatters in the bottom three with two games left to play.
