One of football's most recognizable voices, Alan Smith won't let anything affect his professionalism.

The Arsenal hero and long-time Sky Sports co-commentator, who was also one of the voices of the FIFA video game franchise for a decade, quickly went viral before manchester united against West Ham.

On the Old Trafford pitch, Smith was talking about the Hammers' midfield when the sprinklers went on, drenching him completely.

However, much to the amusement, the 61-year-old didn't miss a beat and continued with his expert as if nothing had happened.

Ben Ransom stepped in to save his colleague once he finished his point, saying: “I'm going to end it there, because this is absolutely brilliant.

“I have never seen a more accomplished professional than Alan Smith. It's kickoff here at two o'clock, so we'll go get a towel and dry off.”

Smith has one of the most distinctive and recognizable voices on commentary after a brilliant playing career.

A former striker, the Birmingham-born star scored 84 goals in 217 appearances for Leicster before registering 115 in 347 appearances for Arsenal.

A two-time league champion with the Gunners, he also has 13 England caps to his name.
