Real Betis are eyeing the Paris Saint-Germain star as efforts are made to rectify the problematic position
One area that Real Betis will absolutely need to address during the summer is the left wing. Manuel Pellegrini's current options are Juan Miranda and Abner Vinicius, but both are expected to leave at the end of the season – Miranda is out of contract, and Abner is likely to join Lyon.
Substitutions are considered, and second MD, consider a summer move for Juan Bernat. The former Valencia star has had a difficult few years, and that has continued this season during an ill-fated loan spell at Portuguese giants Benfica.
Bernat sees his Paris Saint-Germain contract expire in 2025, and the likelihood is that Betis could go for a cheap deal, if they deem it acceptable.
Bernat is not the only left-back option that is lined up by The Real Betis. The club's sports department has also considered moves for Nicolas Tagliafico of Lyon, Valentin Barco of Brighton, and even Sergi Cardona of Las Palmas.
