Quique Sanchez Flores arrived in Sevilla in December, and despite having managed to steady the ship in recent months, his stay will not be extended beyond the last two games of the season.
As reported by ED, Sevilla decided not to extend Quique's contract, which should expire at the end of the season. The 59-year-old is also willing to leave, and he will not be disappointed to leave after the last game of the season against Barcelona at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Quique's replacement has already been lined up, with the report claiming that Las Palmas' Garcia Pimienta is the preferred candidate to take over in the summer. The former Barcelona B coach is appreciated by Sevilla for his attractive style of play, as well as his ability to trust youth players.
Pimenta would be a great appointment from Sevillealthough it is far from certain that they will be able to agree terms with The Palms for his departure. This situation will be one to watch in the coming weeks.
