New Barcelona manager Hansi Flick he stated that he accepted the difficulties of the financial situation in the club, but he has already decided on the first move he will make regarding the transfer market.
According to Sport, he will have a face-to-face meeting with Joshua Kimmich to explain his plans, and try to convince him to sign for Barcelona this summer. Kimmich is currently in talks with Bayern over a new deal, but could be sold if an agreement is not reached. The 29-year-old's priority is to play in midfield, and he also wants to listen to new Bayern manager Vincent Kompany.
Flick: “Barça has one of the best academies in the world. There is a good mix between experience and talent in the team. We have to improve.”

This is despite reports that Kimmich was off the table as an option for the Blaugrana, having rejected their first offer. Sports Director Deco also expressed doubts about KimmichReporting to the club that can be a disruptive element in the dressing room.
Sporting Director Deco is under pressure to deliver a successful transfer window, his first full summer in charge of recruitment, following the disappointing Vitor Roque deal. A pivot has been highlighted as the club's main target in recent months, but beyond Guido Rodriguez and Kimmich, there seems to be little in the way of options.
