Liverpool asked to strike surprise deal to sign Andrej Kramaric

Former Liverpool Star Igor Biscan has urged his former club to sign TSG Hoffenheim star Andrej Kramaric this summer to address a key issue.

The Merseyside club opted to strengthen their first line by signing Darwin Núñez from SL Benfica a couple of years ago. But, although he has shown flashes of his qualities in the first divisionIt has become evident that he lacks efficiency in front of goal.

As a result of his tendency to miss glorious opportunities, he has come under fire in recent times. Liverpool chased the title this season, but eventually ran out of gas and finished the season in third place.

Now, during an interview (via team talk), Buscan has said that Liverpool were unable to win the title this season because, although they created many opportunities, they were unable to take advantage of them. For this reason, the former defender states that the Reds need to sign a new prolific scorer, who can score more than 20 goals to fight for the title in the future.

The Croatian also states that he would be delighted to see his compatriot play at Anfield and that a player like Kramaric would be an excellent signing for Liverpool if they acquired him.

Liverpool were told to sign Kramaric

The former defender also says that if Kramaric could impress at the upcoming European Championship then there could be a chance Liverpool could look to sign him this summer.

Busch said:

“At times this season it seemed to me that they might need a really good finisher in front of goal. I would choose a real center forward, a goalscorer, because they have created many chances this season and missed many. That's the reason they didn't stay in the title race.

“I would love to see Andrej Kramaric in Liverpool, or any Croatian playing at Anfield in the red shirt, it's always incredible. But if he does well at the Euros, who knows? He could be a possibility. “They need a good center forward, someone who is guaranteed 20 or so goals, that is the position they need to reinforce.”

Liverpool do not usually sign players who have already turned 30 and, taking into account that Kramaric will turn 33 this year, it seems very unlikely that the Anfield club will dare to sign him this summer.
