James Trafford could seal immediate return to Premier League as Chelsea and Newcastle eye England goalkeeper
Both Newcastle and Chelsea are showing interest in Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, talkSPORT understands.
The Clarets are open to offers for England Euro 2024 hopeful Trafford after their relegation from the Premier League.
Burnley paid £19 million to sign Trafford city of manchester just last summer.
He went on to make 28 appearances, all of them in the Premier League.
However, by the end of the season he had lost his place in the team to Arijanet Muric.
Trafford received his first call-up to the senior England team this season, replacing the injured Sam Johnstone for a friendly against Belgium.
He also did Gareth Southgate's. supply squad for Euro 2024.
Trafford won the European Under-21 Championship last year, saving an injury-time penalty and his rebound in the final against Spain as England won the final 1-0.

Martin Dubravka stepped in during his absence, while Loris Karius, who made an appearance in the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal in February, was released last week.
Should Trafford be acquired by Newcastle or by Chelseawill seal an instant return to the Premier League.
He currently has three years left on his contract at Turf Moor.
