Wayne Rooney has declared himself the author of an infamous prank on David Moyes.

He 38 years He came through Everton's academy and was given his senior debut by Moyes at the age of 16 in 2002.

He spent two seasons under the Scot's tutelage before joining manchester united, where he became the club's top scorer.

And while moyes helped Rooney become one of the Premier League's (and England's) all-time greats, that didn't stop him from finding himself on the end of a cruel locker room prank.

“(He was) directly in the bathroom and closed the door.

“And I knew what was happening, I could see them (his teammates) looking at me.

“I could see them filling the bucket. They said, 'There you go.' So I was like, fuck.

“So I went into the next cubicle, stood on the toilet and made a humming sound (pretends to pour a bucket).

“I ran out of there and got out of there.”
