While players like Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane Expected to light up the tournament, an Anfield hero will break a record that has stood for 64 years.
The Reds have a host of players who will captain their countries in Germany this summer with Virgil van Dijk leading the Netherlands and Andy Robertson for Scotland.
But Dominik Szoboszlai will make headlines if he appears in the Hungarian team Euro 2024 first game against Switzerland on Saturday.
The midfielder received the armband coach Marco Rossi in November 2022 and has since inspired the Magyars to qualify for Euro 2024.
Szoboszlai was 22 years old when he had the honor of being named captain of his national team and is now set to break the record of becoming the youngest captain in European Championship history since the tournament's inception in 1960.

“A few days ago I found out that I will be the youngest captain of all time in the Euro Cup; “It is a great honor for me and at the same time I would like to thank Marco Rossi for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to lead the team to the European Championship,” Szoboszlai said in his press conference on Tuesday.
Hungary comes into the tournament in top form after a recent 14-match unbeaten run, which ended with the Republic of Ireland in last week's Euro 2024 warm-up match.
They were eager to prove that the defeat in Dublin was merely a blip by sweeping Israel 3-0 in a friendly last Saturday.
A win over a new-look Swiss team would put Rossi's men in a dominant position to qualify for the knockout rounds.

And that could put Szoboszlai at odds with his England teammates. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez should the Three Lions finish second in Group C and Hungary top their group.
