Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign teenage forward Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.

After starting his career with Derby, Kellyman joined Villa’s academy in 2022 before making his Premier League debut as a late substitute against Manchester City in March.

The two clubs are said to have agreed a deal worth £19million, with Kellyman set to sign a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge with the option for an additional year.

According to the Daily Telegraph, a medical will take place on Monday ahead of his move to Enzo Maresca‘s side.

The 18-year-old represented Northern Ireland at multiple youth levels before receiving clearance to switch his international allegiance to his country of birth last year.

Since then Kellyman has appeared for England at U19 level, making seven appearances for Will Antwi’s side.

Meanwhile, Villa are moving closer to completing their deal to sign Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen.

Mail Sport reported earlier this week that a £37.5m fee had been agreed for the Dutchman, with a medical now set to take place this weekend.

An academy graduate at Stamford Bridge, Maatsen spent the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Maatsen played an integral role as the Bundesliga side reached the Champions League final and Dortmund were determined to keep him at the Signal Iduna Park but were reluctant to meet his release clause.
