Last summer, Real Sociedade agreed a deal to take Chelsea forward Bryan Fiabema on loan for the 2023-24 season. The young Norwegian arrived as a top prospect, although his time in Donostia-San Sebastian could have gone better as he managed just five goals and one assist for Sanse, La Real's B team.
Despite this, club officials have not ruled out signing him permanently. Real have the option to make Fiabema their own player from this summer, but despite his deal with Chelsea expiring in a few days, the decision has yet to be made, as confirmed by MD.
Sanse is currently overcrowded with strikers, who could work against Fiabema in his great to sign on a permanent basis. On the other hand, Real society they are aiming to move to as many as nine from their first team, which could give the 21-year-old the chance to impress Imanol Alguacil if he stays.
