It’s fair to say that Donny van de Beek (26) has struggled since joining Eintracht Frankfurt. On loan from Manchester United, the Dutchman is yet to complete a full 90 minutes, while he was an unused substitute in the Bundesliga against Köln on Saturday.
And now, Van de Beek was not named in Eintracht Frankfurt’s UEFA Europa Conference League squad by Dino Toppmöller.
The participating clubs in the UEFA Champions, Europa and Europa Conference League are able to change the squad reported at the start of the season with up to three players for the knockout games after the turn of the year.
