Real Madrid star Edward Camavinga spoke about his role for France at Euro 2024.
Camavinga finished the 2023/24 domestic season in Madrid with a The league and the UEFA Champions League title double.
He started the Champions League final win over Borussia Dortmund and started more games than in the previous campaign.
Despite fluctuating between a cover role at left back, and his natural midfield slot, Camavinga has found it difficult to nail down a starting spot at Euro 2024.
His two appearances in the group stages of the competition came off the bench to replace Adrien Rabiot in midfield.
However, the 21-year-old admitted that he was informed by Didier Deschamps that he would be a backup option, with the potential to play in defense.
