Spain were delighted at the full-time whistle on Tuesday night as their place in the Euro 2024 finals was secured – courtesy of a victory came from France. It turns a little sour for Alvaro Morata, who was the victim of a crunching challenge from one of the security guards at the Fußball Arena München.
The security guard in question rushed towards a fan who tried to get towards Spain's celebrating group. As he did so, he slipped and collided with Morata, who was in obvious pain from the contact.
Yellow card for that challenge, surely? Referee?pic.twitter.com/EOMNCXKiSl

Fans coming to the pitch has been a big issue throughout Euro 2024, and the semi-final was no different. A supporter tried to take a selfie with Kylian Mbappe during the match, and now this incident could have serious effects if Alvaro Morata is injured in the collision.
Spain Will no doubt monitor Morata in the coming days for the aftermath of the collision. The good news is that there are five days until the final in Berlin.
