Real Madrid's teenage talent Arda Guler he was in excellent form for Turkey at Euro 2024, proving to many that he can contribute to Los Blancos next season. The plan is for him to play for minutes next season, after a year dominated by injuries and time on the bench.

Guler, 19, looked at one point as if he would be asked to leave on loan to continue his development, with both Guler himself and Carlo Ancelotti saying he would be back next season , various clubs continue to request a loan deal.

Italian giants AC Milan are the latter, as per OK Diary, who say that the Rossoneri want to repeat a similar form of deal with Guler as they did Brahim Diaz, loaning him for two years. Milan also had a €22m purchase option, with Los Blancos retaining a €27m buyout clause, but in the end none were activated, with Brahim returning to the club. However, the Whites have no intention of Guler going anywhere at the moment.

Guler will face strong competition for minutes again next season, but if he continues to exhibit the form he has in recent months, then he will really compete for them. With the arrival of Endrick Felipe and Kylian Mbappe, it looks like Rodrygo Goes and Brahim will start ahead of Guler in the pecking order for Ancelotti, but Guler has been both impressive and effective so far in Spain.
