Despite the fact that their financial situation continues to cause many concerns, Barcelona has not shied away from its promise to fill La Masia with exciting young talent. Their latest target was Marc Domenech, a prolific 18-year-old striker currently playing in Mallorca's youth ranks.

Barcelona had an offer of €300,000 for Domenech rejected, and even if they were preparing an improved offer, it doesn't matter much now. That's because the teenager has signed a new five-year deal in Mallorca, as revealed by Ultima Hora (via Sport).
Domenech seemed to confirm the news himself on his Instagram, although for now, there has been no official announcement from Majorca. However, it looks like they are keeping one of their prized academy stars.
Barcelona they had Domenech in sight after the departures of Marc Guiu and Pau Victor. The latter was in fantastic form for Barca Atletic last season, and could yet reunite later this summer if a new deal can be reached with Girona.
