Things went from bad to worse for Sheffield United fans after their side went from one to four goals down in just a matter of minutes.
Facing title-chasers Aston Villa at home in the Premier League clash, Sheffield United quickly fell apart after John McGinn, Ollie Watkins, Leon Bailey, and Youri Tielemans found the back of the net in quick succession.
As empty seats began to permeate the stands at Bramall Lane, fans also took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their frustrations at the struggling top-flight club.
The Blades were quickly criticised as ‘one of the worst Premier League teams of all time’ and compared them to Derby County in the 2007-08 season, in which they lost 29 games and accumulated just 11 points.
