Chelsea have made an approach to sign goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal.
The London club have made an initial inquiry about the 22-year-old, who is one of Chelsea’s targets for the goalkeeper position.
Much like Renato Veiga, Jorgensen is viewed as a young and talented player who fits new head coach Enzo Maresca’s system.

Jorgensen, who has played for Denmark and Sweden’s international youth sides joined Villarreal in 2019. He made 37 appearances for Villareal during the 2023-24 season, keeping six clean sheets.
Jorgensen signed a five-year contract extension with Villarreal in June.
Chelsea have Robert Sanchez, Djordje Petrovic, Marcus Bettinelli, and Lucas Bergstrom in their goalkeeping ranks.
Kepa Arrizabalga has returned to the club following his loan spell at Real Madrid, and Chelsea are hopeful of selling the 29-year-old this summer. They have already turned down an opening offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad for the Spaniard.
Chelsea begin their U.S. pre-season tour with a game against Wrexham on July 25.
