Jamie O'Hara has admitted he would “love to see” Marcus Rashford at Tottenham despite his lackluster season at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old managed just eight goals in all competitions for the Red Devils in the 2023/24 season, 22 fewer than the previous campaign.
His form also saw it England is out of the squad for Euro 2024 with Gareth Southgate opting to sign players such as Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon and Eberechi Eze.
But that hasn't stopped the former Tottenham Midfielder and talkSPORT presenter Jamie O'Hara is calling for Rashford to move to London.
“I have a soft spot for Rashford,” O'Hara said in talkSPORT Breakfast.
“I don't know why, because watching him last season frustrated me so much. When he's at Luton you think: 'Come on, mate, give me more', but he has star quality.
“He has the X factor and if you get a manager who can get the best out of him, you get a top-class player.
Rashford has also had a turbulent relationship with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. The winger's decision to go to a nightclub after October's 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City was Described as “unacceptable” by Ten Hag at the time.
“He doesn't get along with Erik ten Hag, that's an issue they have to resolve,” O'Hara added.
“You can't have someone who earns £375,000 a week sitting on the bench doing nothing, not participating and not getting involved. He has to play, you have to find a way to get him into the team.
“He makes fantastic runs but never has the ball. Would you pay £80m for him? Yes, I would, I would love to see him at Tottenham.”
Marcus Rashford has been at Manchester United since he was seven years old and made his first-team debut in 2016 in a match against Midtjylland.
Last season (23/24) he scored just seven Premier League goals, provided two assists and played 681 minutes less than the previous campaign.
Another question is whether United would consider selling Rashford to a Premier League club.
