Tuta played in all but four of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Bundesliga games last season, and has since attracted interest from Brazil, but SGE sporting director Timmo Hardung has since addressed the rumours about his 25-year-old defender.

“There are rumours,” Hardung told fussball.news in his press conference. “I also read about them this morning, but only on social media. There is no offer and we have not received an email. I can’t confirm these reports, or even deny them.”

FT cite Canal do Medeiros that Botafogo are interested in signing Tuta. The Brazilian side are owned by John Textor, who also owns RWD Molenbeek and OL Groupe (Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Lyonnais Féminin), and is also a co-owner of Crystal Palace.

Eintracht’s Markus Krösche has also stressed that Tuta isn’t for sale, but should they receive an offer of at least €10m, per fussball.news, then that could change and should the Brazilian depart the Hessen club, where he’s been since 2019, then SGE could target PAOK defender Konstantinos Koulierakis (20) as a replacement.
