Barcelona are currently prioritizing deals for Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, which has meant that they have not considered the re-signing of Joao Cancelo at this stage. However, it is likely to be something you pursue later in the summer, depending on whether it is financially possible.

Meanwhile, Cancelo continues to be courted by clubs in Saudi Arabia. As reported by SportAl-Ahli and Al-Ettifaq are both willing to pay the asking price of €30m which has been set by Manchester City – the Premier League champions are desperate to part with the Portuguese defender, who is still not in Pep Guardiola's plans.

However, Cancelo is not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia as he only has his eyes on a return to Barcelona. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has already agreed personal terms with the Catalans, who want another loan deal with a non-obligatory purchase option. Man City would agree to another 12-month loan, but only if it included an obligation to buy next summer.

Barcelona He would only be willing to pay 20 million euros for Cancelo in the event of a transfer, but that would only be in the event that they finish their most important activity first. If a deal is made, it won't be for a few weeks.
