Leroy Sane has previously expressed his gratitude towards Mikel Arteta amid reports linking him with a summer move to Arsenal.

Sane made 135 appearances in all competitions during his time at City, scoring 39 goals and assisting 43 in all competitions.

He won the FA Cup, three Carabao Cups and two Community Shields alongside his Premier League titles before leaving for Bayern.

The return to Germany has also been successful for Sané, as he has been part of three Bundesliga-winning teams in four seasons.

He has also won the German Super Cup, the German Super Cup and the Club World Cup, and has scored 98 goals in 175 games.

If he leaves Bayern for Arsenal, Sané could compete with Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli for the starting spot on the left wing.
