Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed that he had clear conversations with Thiago Silva after the Brazilian's wife's controversial comments.

Pochettino has now confirmed that he has spoken to the defender, but has remained tight-lipped about the content of the conversation.
“He (Thiago) came today to talk to me. “I'm not going to talk about what we were talking about but the most important thing is that he came and talked to me.” Pochettino said at his press conference ahead of Wednesday's FA Cup replay match in Aston Villa.

Asked if the job at Chelsea is more difficult than he had originally anticipated, the 51-year-old remained defiant that he can turn the club's fortunes around.
“Of course, it's always hard work. But at the same time it's an exciting project and we know it's difficult,” he said.
