Deniz Undav is set to join Stuttgart on a permanent basis for a fee of €27 million all-in , according to Florian Plettenberg.
He will sign a contract until at least 2027.
The Brighton and Hove Albion striker enjoyed a successful loan spell in the Bundesliga last season with Stuttgart as he scored 19 goals and provided ten assists in 33 games.
He helped the team qualify for the Champions League and earned himself a call up to the German national team squad for Euro 2024.
Undav had recently expressed his desire to return to the club and stated that if the transfer didn’t happen then it would be ‘bitter and unfortunate.’
Negotiations have taken a while between the two clubs as it was previously reported that Brighton rejected an initial bid of €23 million plus bonuses for the 28-year-old.
Brighton have now finally got their asking price in which Stuttgart will pay a club record fee.
