According to Bild, Jonathan Tah’s transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Bayern Munich could still collapse.
The Jonathan Tah transfer saga this summer has ebbed and flowed between completion and collapse a number of times.
However, when it was reported that the two clubs had agreed on a fee for the German international, it appeared that the end was in sight.
Nevertheless, the fee of €25 million with €5 million in add-ons has not been submitted, and it will not be until Manchester United target Matthijs de Ligt is sold.
While Leverkusen are aware that Der Rekordmeister need to sell the Dutch defender before they look to buy Tah, Die Werkself will not allow Bayern to dictate proceedings.
The German champions have stated to Tah that they will allow him to complete his dream move to Bayern, but they are growing frustrated with the record champions.
Tah has travelled with Leverkusen to their pre-season friendly with Arsenal in London, and he is expected to play.
Leverkusen are expected to put pressure on Bayern, and they will threaten the Rekordmeister with the possibility of pulling out of a deal if their offer is not submitted by next week, even if it means that Tah could leave for free next summer.
