Manchester United are exploring a move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson as an alternative to Manuel Ugarte after talks with Paris Saint-Germain stalled, according to GIVE HIM SPORTS.
United have been in negotiations with PSG in recent months over the possible transfer Ugarte but the two clubs have not been able to reach an agreement.

It seems that Ederson has now become United's preferred option. GIVE HIM SPORTS reporting that the Brazil international is 'in the mix' to join the Red Devils this summer after the club reignited their interest following an initial approach to the player's entourage in March.

With the report revealing a host of alternatives, it appears United have significant interest in Ederson, who finished the recently concluded Serie A as one of the best midfielders in the Italian top flight.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will consider cheaper alternatives such as Andre and Berge, or splash out on a proven midfielder like Ederson.
