The second part of the Finalissima is scheduled for next summer, with Argentina – winner of the Copa America 2024 – and Spain – winners of Euro 2024 – contesting the spectacular event.

There are doubts about when the match can be held, because of the new Club World Cup that occupies a large part of the summer 2025. This is a problem for FIFA to solve, and they also have to know where the match will be held.

Wembley Stadium played host to the event in 2022, with Argentina winning 3-0 on that occasion. Because Europe hosted the last time, the game will be held in South America in 2025, and the reigning champions of the Copa America want home advantage, according to Relief.

The Estadio Monumental de River Plate is the stadium proposed by the Argentine Football Association. UEFA and CONMEBOL have to come to an agreement on the matter, and Spain will hope the AFA doesn't go their way as a more level playing field will surely be desired by the reigning European champions.
