Real Madrid do not plan to sell any of their first-team players before the end of the summer transfer window, although they could be tempted to do so if they receive an offer that is too good to refuse. This could be the case for Rodrygo Goes, who is not guaranteed a regular starting place during the 2024-25 season.
Manchester City have been linked with Rodrygo as a replacement for Julian Alvarez at Atletico Madrid, while reports in England (via MD) also say that the 23-year-old is wanted by Liverpool as long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. Both clubs were able to spend big, which could capture the attention Real Madrid.
At this stage, Rodrygo has little intention of leaving Real MadridAlthough his position could change in the next 12 months if he were to be pushed out of the regular starting line-up by Kylian Mbappe or Arda Guler. For this summer at least, it could be very surprising if something happens.
