Danny Murphy He opened up about the time Jay-Jay Okocha humiliated him twice in one game and left the former Liverpool star 'furious'.
Okocha joined Bolton on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2002 and would make 142 appearances for the club before his departure in 2006.
Such was Okocha's impact on the club that he was named the greatest player ever to play at the Reebok Stadium, now known as Macron Stadium.
Highlight compilations of the Nigerian winger are aplenty, as his slalom runs alongside defenders left fans mesmerised.
Unfortunately for Murphy, he was one of many players whom Okocha made look foolish.
Murphy recounted his experience against Okocha on talkSPORT's shortlist of candidates as he and Darren Bent revealed their favourite stars 'the streets won't forget'.
“He's the only player I've ever played against that did two things to me in one game,” Murphy said.
“The first one was a meg. I've had other players meg meg me, but it was a lovely meg and it moved. I thought, 'Oh, I've dipped a bit, I've got to give this guy some respect.'
“The other one was trapped in a corner and he threw a bullet over my head. He threw it over my head and it hit the other side. You know when you're mad. I couldn't get close to him.
“He always played with a smile on his face. He had the freedom to try things that I wouldn't want to try in a game. And he could shoot.”
Murphy added: “A free spirit. An absolute talent in skill, playing with that creativity.”
Okocha scored 18 goals and registered 10 assists in 145 appearances for Bolton.
During his four years at Bolton under manager Sam Allardyce, Okocha helped the club qualify for the UEFA Cup as well as reach the 2004 League Cup final.
He then left the club in 2006 and moved to Qatar SC, before returning to England the following year to join Hull City in the Championship.
However, his one season with Hull was blighted by injuries and fitness problems and he only made 18 appearances for the Tigers in what was his final season in professional football.
