Real Madrid talent Rafael Obrador has been loaned to Segunda giants Deportivo La Coruña, where he will spend the season in Segunda.
Obrador, 20, shot to fame after making his La Liga debut as a 16-year-old for RCD Mallorca in 2020 before Los Blancos made a move for him. He spent the last few years at Real Madrid Castilla, and was part of the senior team's pre-season tour of the United States this summer. AS Diary they say that Obrador had also attracted interest from some teams in the League, but instead he will play Riazor.

Deportivo do not have an option to buy Obrador, who is their sixth signing of the summer. He comes in to bolster their options, with Sergio Escudero out long-term and Iano Simao dealing with fitness issues. Last season Obrador was a regular for Raul Gonzalez in Castilla, but has little chance of breaking into the first team, with Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia ahead of him.
