Aston Villa can confirm that Alex Moreno has joined Nottingham Forest on loan.
The full-back joined Villa in January 2023 and helped the club qualify for European football at the end of that season.
Moreno signed from Real Betis in his native Spain where he had made 122 appearances in three years.
Last term he made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times as Villa reached the semi-final of the UEFA Europa Conference League and finished fourth in the Premier League.
