Barcelona is trying to close several departures before the closing of the summer transfer window. Ilkay Gundogan and Vitor Roque will be the next players to go, joining Manchester City (free transfer) and Real Betis (loan) respectively. The expectation is that Mikayil Faye will also go to the exit soon in the coming days.
Faye has no place in Hansi Flick's plans for the coming season, and because he has value, Barcelona has decided that he will be sold. They have already received three offers for the services of the young defender, and it will be his decision on where to play his football from September.
Ace for MDBarcelona have asked for a €40 million buyout clause to be included in the deal, worth €15 million, for Faye. This would be active for the next two years, thus ending at the conclusion of the 2026 summer transfer window.

Inter Milan were one of the teams interested in Faye, but these demands saw them drop out of the race. There is no doubt that Barcelona they are desperate to sell, but the sale must happen on their terms.
