Real Madrid play their first home game of the 2024-25 season on Sunday as they host Real Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu. Carlo Ancelotti's side will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend's disappointing opening weekend draw against Mallorca, and they are heavy favorites to do so.
Valladolid will arrive in the Spanish capital with confidence, having won their opening match against Espanyol. Paulo Pezzolano is expected to call the same team that started at the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla, and for the second consecutive day, he will not be able to call the signing of the summer Juanmi Latasa.
Latasa joined Valladolid from Real Madrid earlier this month. Marco they reported that he has not yet been registered in the League, meaning that he cannot play any part against his former club on Sunday.
It is disappointing for Latasa and Pezzolano that the 24-year-old cannot see. Valladolid they will hope to have him available on Wednesday when they host Leganes, although it is yet to be determined if that will be possible.
