It's only a small change, as the game will start at 4 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m., but it will still have an impact on fans.

But why has this particular game been moved?

The match will be broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League, so the initial change is due to it being chosen for broadcast.

Normally this means the game would start at 4:30pm, however games between rivals can often be moved in conjunction with the police and local authorities.

We saw this last season with the FA Cup match between Man United and Liverpoolwhich started at 3:30pm on a Sunday instead of later.

Postponing a match by an hour or so may not seem like much, but police investigations show it has a major impact on disorder and problems between fans.

Sometimes when games were changed last season for these reasons, this was made clear in club statements.

However, there has been no statement from either club this time, leaving the real reason for the change a mystery.

But given what has happened at Manchester United vs Liverpool matches in the past, it's possible that the police and local authorities had something to do with the match starting early.

As a result, Sunday's opening games between Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Tottenham have also been moved.

Hopefully any inconvenience will be worth it and we'll end up with a great game.
