Georgina Rodriguez rates Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic Manchester United outfit that fans mock in hilarious YouTube video
Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't help but sit back and listen as Georgina Rodriguez rated and criticized his questionable fashion choices over the years.
The Al Nassr star was joined by his partner on his newly launched YouTube channel, where he was asked to rate his clothes out of 10, with the jumper he wore when he signed for Manchester United in 2003 being one of them.
The jersey has resurfaced several times online throughout his career, mostly to poke fun at the 39-year-old, who clearly showed he has no problem laughing at himself either.
Ronaldo held up the picture with a smile and said: “I don't think I look that bad.”
Rodríguez replied: “Little things, it’s like I want to (laughs) and I can’t, but he made an effort with his watch.”
Ronaldo threw his head back in laughter at her hesitant analysis.
Rodriguez continued: “Her shoes, which I imagine were the ones that were in fashion. Seven for the effort.”
Despite Ronaldo's surprised reaction to his rating, Rodriguez knows what he's talking about when it comes to fashion.
She met Ronaldo while working at a Gucci store in Madrid and has built her career on that.
Having worked as a model and influencer, she has appeared in campaigns for Gucci, Prada and Chanel.
By then Ronaldo was a global star and the face of Real Madrid, having joined Manchester United in 2009 in a world-record £80m transfer.
But six years earlier, he was just an 18-year-old trying to make a name for himself when Manchester United splashed out on a £12.24m move to Sporting CP to become a key player. Mr Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
During this time he won the Ballon d'Or and helped United win three consecutive Premier League titles, while winning the FA Cup in his first season.
In 2009, Ronaldo moved to real Madridfor a world record price at the time: £80 million.
He also signed and played for Juventus in 2018 and then returned to Manchester United in 2021 but left under acrimonious circumstances.
