Georgina Rodriguez rates Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic Manchester United outfit that fans mock in hilarious YouTube video
Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't help but sit back and listen as Georgina Rodriguez rated and criticized his questionable fashion choices over the years.
The Al Nassr star was joined by his partner on his newly launched YouTube channel, where he was asked to rate his clothes out of 10, with the jumper he wore when he signed for Manchester United in 2003 being one of them.
The jersey has resurfaced several times online throughout his career, mostly to poke fun at the 39-year-old, who has clearly shown he has no problem laughing at himself.
Ronaldo held up the picture with a smile and said: “I don't think I look that bad.”
Rodriguez replied: “Little things, it’s like I want to and I can’t, but he made an effort with his watch.”
Ronaldo threw his head back in laughter at her hesitant analysis.
Rodriguez continued: “Her shoes, which I imagine were the ones that were in fashion. Seven for the effort.”
Despite Ronaldo's surprised reaction to his rating, Rodriguez knows what he's talking about when it comes to fashion.
She met Ronaldo while working at a Gucci store in Madrid and has built her career on that.
Having worked as a model and influencer, she has appeared in campaigns for Gucci, Prada and Chanel.
In August 2004, Manchester United spent a then-record £12.24m on Ronaldo.
The 18-year-old left Sporting CP to become a key player for Mr Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Five years later he won the Ballon d'Or, FIFA World Player of the Year and helped United win a third consecutive league title.
Ronaldo made the move to real Madrid in 2009 after a momentous first spell at Manchester United, scoring 84 goals in 196 appearances.
He also signed and played for Juventus in 2018 before returning to Old Trafford.
However, the United legend left in acrimonious circumstances after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag following a controversial interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo found a new home at Saudi club Al-Nassr in December 2022.
He received the highest salary in football history, €200 million a year, and in February 2023 he scored his 500th career league goal.
He set a new Saudi Pro League record in May 2024 by scoring the most goals in a single campaign and also became the first player to finish as top scorer in four different leagues.
