Chelsea will host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Matchday 3 of the Premier League Sunday, September 1st.
The game comes just two days after Chelsea secured their place in the UEFA Conference League despite a 2-1 defeat to Servette in the second leg of their qualifying play-offs.
The Blues will be looking to repeat their 6-2 success against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out in the top flight of English football and here's how they could line up:
GOALIE: Among more than half a dozen Chelsea goalkeepers, Robert Sanchez appears to have been chosen for the lead role and he will be called upon again to play between the sticks against Crystal Palace.
DEFENDERS: Including Conference League play-off matches, Chelsea have conceded six goals in four games this season in all competitions and need to put in a better defensive performance.
After making significant changes against Servette, Maresca is ready to return to the defence he started against Wolves last week.
Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto will be the left and right backs, respectively, while Levi Colwill will play in the centre of defence alongside Wesley Fofana.
Joao Felix will be a starter
MIDFIELDERS: Moisés Caicedo suffered a knock in the match against Servette in midweek, but should recover in time and will play in double pivot with Enzo Fernández.
Cole Palmer will be called up to play as a No10. On his right flank, hat-trick hero Noni Madueke is a sure starter, while Joao Felix could start his first Premier League game since signing permanently for Chelsea after coming off the bench to score once against Wolves in a 6-2 win last weekend.
Jadon Sancho completed a surprise move to Stamford Bridge on deadline day but was not registered in time to be eligible this weekend.
FORWARD: Marc Guiu will leave and Nicolas Jackson will return to lead Chelsea's attack. He has been in good form of late and, as the west Londoners have not signed a striker, he will be their number nine for the rest of the campaign.
