Jhon Durán has been named as Aston Villa’s August Goal of the Month winner.
The Villa striker scooped the honour for his superbly-taken header against Leicester City at King Power Stadium on August 31.
Durán stepped off the bench and duly nodded home Lucas Digne’s cross just moments later to clinch a 2-1 victory over the Foxes.
It was the Colombia international’s second goal of the season after his opening-day winner at West Ham United, with Amadou Onana also finding the net in both matches.
