Barcelona failed – but in the end failed – to secure a new agreement with Nike over the summer, and this led to not being able to return to the 1:1 rule of the League, from which they have been absent for some years. This meant that Dani Olmo was the only first team signing, and this is something that club officials want to avoid in 2025 and beyond.

Securing a new agreement with Nike will allow the return of Barcelona to 1:1. Earlier this week, new speeches were held between the two parties, and has now been informed by MD that there is confidence that an agreement can be closed in the next 15 days.

The report also states that Nike's legal advisers are expected to travel next week to review the clauses of the future contract. At this stage, there are still significant details to be resolved, with one of the main ones being BLM (Barça Licensing and Merchandising) – Barcelona I don't want to leave any percentage, while Nike wants a piece.
