Manager of Barcelona Hansi Flick were enjoying a charmed start to life in Catalonia, winning all five of their opening games, but were soon brought to the ground by a disappointing defeat at AS Monaco on Thursday night. It also brought the first signs of frustration from the German coach.
The Insider account Portera de Nunez said on Friday that Flick for the first time was seen publicly to lose his temper after his loss. After the game, Flick was told by press liaison officer Sergi Nogueras that he had two flash interviews to do after the match at the Stade Louis II, but he ended up doing two more, which he only found out after finished second.

They told him he had 2 'flash interviews' at the end of the game and at the end of the 2nd he had 2 more waiting. He got angry, although he treated the two reporters with his best face.

It's a reminder of the stress a Barcelona manager is under, as well as a sign of the high standards Flick also holds everyone around him to. The fact that he was then able to bring his emotions under control is a good sign, since it was one of the problems that haunted Xavi Hernandez last year – although in this case it is the first encounter that Flick he had to deal with, injuries aside.
