Sancho set up Cole Palmer for his historic fourth goal in Chelsea victory 4-2 against Brighton on Saturday with a good pass.

He and Jackson are tied with three assists this season, with Palmer leading the way with four.

Sancho also won Palmer's penalty against Brighton and saw a goal disallowed for offside, but he is hopeful of scoring his first soon.

“It was a great feeling and I really appreciated the reception I got from the fans. It was a great feeling (getting a standing ovation from the fans) and my family and friends were in the crowd during the game, so that made it very special.

“I'm happy that I was able to help with the goals in the last few games, I'm adapting well here and I just want to keep this momentum going and be able to continue helping my teammates. Or even score the first goal. That would be nice!”

Palmer and Nkunku are level on six goals each in all competitions, closely followed by Noni Madueke and Jackson on four.

Chelsea have won four of their first six Premier League games thanks to their team's efforts and are fourth in the table.

The Blues have scored 23 goals in nine games and can add to their haul against Gent at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night in their opening match of the UEFA Conference League league stage, live on talkSPORT 2.
