Former midfielder turned pundit Jamie O'Hara has praised Tottenham Hotspur ace Micky van de Ven.
After joining the Lilywhites from VfL Wolfsburg in a £34million deal last summer, the 23-year-old has established himself as a key starter in Ange Postecoglou's starting XI.
He helped the north London club finish fifth in the first division last season and has enjoyed a promising start to this campaign, assisting twice and keeping a clean sheet in five league games.
The defender's dizzying pace is his main weapon and he showed his running power against Everton when he ran from defense to attack before providing an assist to Son Heung-Min.
Once again he showed his dizzying pace last weekend against manchester united when he ran through the entire United team before scoring the first goal for Brennan Johnson.
An expert praises Van de Ven
Now, speaking of talkSPORTO'Hara praises Van de Ven and says the Dutchman is one of the best defenders in the world, even better than Arsenal ace William Saliba.
The expert further states that the North London club is good enough to play for any elite club in the world. He said:

Van de Ven has been showing signs that he is a top-level player, but to keep a talent like him, Spurs must constantly fight for big prizes. Otherwise, the player might consider leaving to join a bigger team.
Tottenham have shown signs that they could be aiming for big prizes in the future under Postecoglou. But it will be interesting to see if they can eventually come out on top anytime soon.
