A 3-1 win over Jurgen Klopp's side last Sunday lifted spirits at the Emirates and fans are quietly confident the club can end their 20-year title drought.

Avid Arsenal Fan Morgan believes the north London side are capable of getting over the line this season – but only if boss Mikel Arteta tweaks his line-up and loses £110m in talent.

“I thought it was the best performance under Arteta against Liverpool on Sunday,” Morgan told talkSPORT. “He also showed us some things that we must modify and order.

“I came up with a master plan because I am fed up with Arsenal not having a suitable striker.

“I think Arteta has a blind spot in this regard. He has ridiculous loyalty to (Kai) Havertz, who I just don't think is good enough. So, here's my master plan…

“After Sunday, we have to have a midfield that has Jorginho and rice. Jorginho is very calm and does his thing brilliantly, but he also brings out the best in Rice.

“Up front, I think Martinelli should make an effort Thierry Henry and start playing in the middle with (Bukayo) Saka on the right and (Leandro) Trossard on the left.

“I would bench (Gabriel) Jesús. I would send Havertz back to Chelsea and let's do it for the rest of the season.”

Arsenal fans have been frustrated by the lack of goals from central areas and Havertz often replaces the injured Brazilian.

Both Havertz and Jesus have scored just four goals each in the Premier League this season, while full-back Martinelli has scored five goals.

The lack of goals has caused concern among fans who were looking for the club to push for the Brentford striker. Ivan Toney in January.

However, Financial Fair Play restrictions mean fans will have to wait until the summer to see if Arsenal can land Toney and Morgan believes his makeshift front trio is the next best option.

“Let's try to have a striker because right now the only weakness of this team is that we don't have anyone in the center who can finish,” he added.

“Havertz doesn't want to do it, he's not good enough, he's not a suitable striker. “I think most Arsenal fans on Sunday would agree that Jorginho was the man of the match and Martinelli was the best player on that pitch.”
