talkSPORT's Simon Jordan discussed the potential positives and negatives of appointing Thomas Tuchel today.

Tuchel, now the favorite for the England job, won the Champions League with Chelsea, the Bundesliga with Bayern and Ligue 1 with PSG.

However, his dismissal from all those positions was controversial and Jordan has challenged the FA to appoint him and deal with his strong personality.

Speaking about White and Jordan this afternoon, he said: “I want a winner who can carry himself in perpetuity and who can reflect in the way he runs the team.

“It's a balancing act, I thought Tuchel was brilliant when he first arrived at Chelsea, but I think the results of his departure were perfectly legitimate.

“And he has found himself in similar situations at Bayern and PSG. If the common denominator is you, there has to be a problem.

“Now, if this can be stopped or if the person learns the lesson and transfers it to the international stage…”

He continued: “We have seen a manager come to England with a great reputation and to some extent Sven put the FA in difficult situations at times.

“I'm talking about the similarities between them and their personalities.

“But I would like the FA to inform Thomas Tuchel because I think they would have their hands full.

“It will keep you on your toes and on your toes and I challenge you to employ it.”
